Our mission

Devasangam is a devotional platform that curates temple, festival, panchang and scriptural content for devotees across Bharat and the diaspora. Our editorial goal is to present tradition accurately and respectfully.

Sourcing

Temple histories and festival descriptions are compiled from publicly available sources including official temple trust websites, Wikipedia (CC BY-SA), recognised puranic references and regional cultural bodies. Live darshan is embedded only from the official YouTube channel of the respective temple.

Verification

Festival dates and muhurat timings are cross-referenced against multiple panchang sources. Where traditions differ by region, we note the variation rather than pick one. Live stream IDs are health-checked and replaced with fallback feeds when the primary is unavailable.

Corrections

Errors are corrected promptly on notification. If you find an inaccuracy, write to [email protected] or use our Contact page.

Independence and advertising

Editorial content is independent of advertising. Google AdSense advertisements are clearly rendered as ad units and do not influence which temples, festivals or traditions are featured.

Community contributions

Suggested temples and updates from devotees are reviewed before publication. Contributions become part of the site under our Terms of Service.
